About the Aussie Lass
I'm Katia, and I'm a 27 year old Australian living in France with my other half and our cat. I've basically been living here permanently since August 2001, and blogging since 2002.
What is an Aussie lass doing so far away from home?
In short, my husband and I met on the internet and are living happily ever after. For now, our home base is France, but he harbours a secret dream to open up a surf shop on an Australian beach, so who knows ;)
What's it like living in France?
Life here is not always easy, but it's always interesting, although I still have trouble saying that France is "home". I spend a lot of time thinking about this. I like hearing other "expat" stories, so why not send me an email? If you're a foreigner with questions about life in France or living in France, or looking for advice on Paris etc., I'm definitely no expert, but I am happy to give help out where I can, so don't hesitate to contact me. :)
